Off to Williamsburg

Tomorrow my friend Robin and I head out to Williamsburg to attend the Gathering of Embroiderers. This is very exciting for me. Not only is it my first stitching event but it's also my first break since Lena was born. And over breakfast conversation I realized this is the first time since being married I've gone out of town without David. Weird. (I have no life)

Needless to say, I'm very excited. I've only been to Williamsburg once and didn't really do anything historical.

What perfect timing before I head out, I have finished block 7 of Village of HRH. I plan to take my miniature piece by Scarlet Letter with me out if town and leave my big guy at home.

So here is block 7 of Village of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings.

My progress...

And what blog post would be complete with out some baby pictures.  Although she's a big girl now..

Here she is opening her Valentine's Day card. Who doesn't need a soft fluffy doggy card?

Her newest accomplishment?  She has figured out where the Cheerios are kept.  She prefers to eat them out of the box instead of her snack cup.  :-P
