Stitching ADD

I must have been feeling restless the past week because I have been working on 4 things at once.  I usually like to do one project at a time.  Lately I upped it to 2 projects. I have been REALLY wanting to do the Villages of Hawk Run Hollow for a while, so I decided to just bite the bullet and start it.  But the local chapter of my EGA has a project for us to complete these little boxes and then we'll learn to put them together.  Small hitch...must be from my grad school days...when I have to do something I just procrastinate.  It's only on 32 ct but it's all stitched over 1.  I start working on it but then get distracted by my pretty HRH piece.

And then I a friend of mine asked me to teach her to crochet a blanket.  So I've been working on some large granny squares.

For the ultimate in procrastination I decided to clean out some of supplies and put them in a storage bin.  I found my pillow cushion needlepoint by Julia Hickman for The Stitchery.  Why not? Add one more piece to pile.

So here's my progress of the October Box by Cherished Stitches

This is the first square of my Villages of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House.

This is my progress on my needlepoint.  All of the design is complete, all that is left is the blue background. (I see this taking a LONG time)

Here's what a long row of my squares looks like.  I will vary the patterns but this row represents my 7 patterns that I created.

Here's a detail of one of my squares.

  1. Lots of wonderful projects. This is ADD, this is normal for a stitcher :)

  2. Wow, I love all your projects! So much fun! I'm usually a one at a timer too, but every once in a while I go crazy as well. lol!
